Illegal immigrant rescues boy in desert - Yahoo! News

The 45-year-old woman, who eventually died while awaiting help, had been driving on a U.S. Forest Service road in a remote area just north of the Mexican border when she lost control of her van on a curve on Thanksgiving, Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada said.

The van vaulted into a canyon and landed 300 feet from the road, he said. The woman, from Rimrock, north of Phoenix, survived the impact but was pinned inside, Estrada said.

Her son, unhurt but disoriented, crawled out to get help and was found about two hours later by Jesus Manuel Cordova, 26, of Magdalena de Kino in the northern Mexican state of Sonora. Unable to pull the mother out, he comforted the boy while they waited for help.

The woman died a short time later.

"He stayed with him, told him that everything was going to be all right," Estrada said.

As temperatures dropped, he gave him a jacket, built a bonfire and stayed with him until about 8 a.m. Friday, when hunters passed by and called authorities, Estrada said. The boy was flown to University Medical Center in Tucson as a precaution but appeared unhurt.

Yeah, He did a good deed, does that give him the damn right to be in this damn country, Hell no!

"They do get demonized for a lot of reasons, and they do a lot of good. Obviously this is one example of what an individual can do," he said.

I can almost hear the Open Border advocates now, "See??!?!??! They're good people, open the borders for them!!!!"

Big deal, one taco head does a good deed and we're ready to make him into a saint, What about all the OTHERS, who have killed, raped children and adult like? You can read about some of them, by going here.

We ought to have a shoot to KILL order at the U.S./Mexican Border. Couple of them damn taco heads going back in Body bags, they'd think twice about crossing that damn border.

Editorial: Placing animal suffering over human suffering

Witnessing suffering is never easy, whether it be an animal or human. I and many other readers of the Blog that is maintained by Rachel Lucas in Texas witnessed the heart-rending decision by her and her ex-husband to euthanize her and John’s dog named Digger. To be fair to Rachel and John, Digger was suffering horribly from various aliments that were making his life most uncomfortable. Rachel and John both came to the decision, that Digger’s suffering was to the point that keeping him alive was doing him more harm than good, and they proceeded to do what any normal, sane, caring, human being would do for their animal.

Many of you, who will possibly read this editorial, will likely remember a very famous person, who was placed in trial here in Michigan for attempted and following through with the assisting the ending of the lives of those who were suffering from terminal aliments. That man’s name was and still is Jack Kevorkian. Jack was recently released from prison after being treated most spitefully and punished for doing for humans, what Rachel Lucas did for her dog, and that is end his suffering.

Having said all of the above let me pose a question to the readers of this Blog. How is it, that we as citizens of the United States of America, land of the free and the home of the brave. How is it, that we will allow people to end of the suffering of a mere animal, but if someone, like Jack Kevorkian attempts to assist someone, who wants to end the suffering, of say, cancer or some other terminal aliment, he is arrested, thrown in jail and treated like some common criminal?

I have an opinion as to why and I am going to share it with you. It is because of the blatant attempt by the religious right in America, to turn the United States of America from a Democracy into a Theocracy. How is it that we live in a Nation who places the well being of Dogs, Cats and various other animals over the well being one of the most important species on plant earth? Just because some old duffer with a Bible and some narrow-minded opinion decided that animals have no soul, and that Humans are the only species that really matter? I say this, as Born-Again Christian of 25 years, who is horrified that the Religious Right has eroded the full wall of separation of Church and State. Let me go on record as saying that this is one of the most preposterous disservices to the American people and to the human race ever perpetuated, since the outlawing of abortion.

I believe that a country that does not allow it’s citizens to die of a fate of their own choosing, is not a true free country at all, but a tyrannical nation, who forces their citizens to suffer through horrible diseases, all so that the healthcare companies can profit from that disease. This further points to and exposes this nations preference to the corrupt corporate elite in this Country, further more it shows that our rulers in this nation are more interested in padding the pockets and filling the wallets of the health care companies, rather than upholding and defending the inalienable rights of it’s tax paying citizens.

I want to be clear, I write this not as a Liberal or a Conservative, Not as a Republican or a Democrat. I write this as someone, who believes that the right of the American people have been trampled by group of people that believe that their view is the only right view and has gotten away with maligning the rights of a free people for much too long.

In closing, I hope what you have read here will inspire you; inspire you to take up the flaming sword. Take it up and begin to cut through the bands of injustice in America, the bands that disallow Americans to die in a manner of their own choosing. Because this is ruling of our own doing, made by foolish people, and only we the tax paying American people can change this horrible law. I ask you, as someone who has held deep feelings on this subject for many years, as someone who watched, as society took a man who was simply trying others relieve their suffering, and throw him into prison and throw away the key and forget about him. I ask you to not allow this sword to burn out and be cast aside by indifference. Furthermore, I ask you to stand up and make your voice be heard in the hallowed halls of Congress.

Together, we can make that change.

However, let me absolutely clear, I do not support the current Presidential leadership in Washington D.C. Their brand of Conservatism has ruined the G.O.P. Those bast-rds son-of-a-bitches have turned the entire Nation against Christianity and anything even remotely resembling anything conservative, due to their inability to engage in any sort of diplomacy with other countries around the World.

Yes, I admit it; I have serious issues with Neo-Conservatives. They are Bast-rds. Bast-rds from the deepest part of the Devil's hell, and that's where they ALL belong.

The Neo-Conservative bast-rd son-of-a-bitches have ruined our Armed Forces, marred our Nation's image around the World, and sent many a young soldier to an early young grave, and for what? To and for the support of a VERY shortsighted and quite flawed Worldview.

All the while doing this, The Neo-Conservative cronies are making a fortune, a fortune off the blood, sweat, and grit of the young promising minds of tomorrow. They did all this, to support a warped view of world peace and Christian values.

Further more, The Neo-Conservatives Elitism and the General mentality of the Republicans in Washington DC, toward the middle class in this Country is totally, and unequivocally unacceptable in this day and age. One only need read the writings of Ann Coulter to see just what it is that I am referring. For what it is worth, Ann Coulter does not speak for 99.99 percent of the Conservatives in America. She speaks for that 1 percent of highbrow Elitists in America and for the 1 percent of uneducated Republicans who walk around with a King James Bible in one hand and a spittoon in the other.

I write this not as a far lefty liberal, I write this as Right Leaning Conservative Christian, who grew up in the era of Ronald Reagan Conservatism. Yes, I realize that Ronald Reagan pandered to the Conservative base, and the Republicans have paid for it dearly for the last 6 years, and they will continue to pay for it, until the next Conservative President is elected, 8 years from now. Thanks to the pandering of Ronald Reagan era and the total mishandling of the Iraq War and the President’s style of Diplomacy, this Nation is going to end up in the hands of the far lefty liberals who want to totally stamp out Organized Religion, Outlaw Bibles, and Christianity, and have an Islamic State in America.

Who is to blame? Every last person, who voted for and supported the Election of George Walker Bush, pat yourselves on the back, you have done a heck of a job.
