Editorial: The Slippery Slope of Liberalism in America
Poison by definition is something that attacks to destroy. Whether the Poison is by chemical, gas, or liquid, it is still poison. In the world of Politics and Religion, That Poison is Liberalism. I am not referring to the commonly diluted Liberalism that makes up most people that claim to be Liberal in today’s society. I am referring to the Liberalism found on places, like the extremely liberal Blog, called DailyKOS.
Liberalism, in its purest forum, hates anything even remotely Christian, Religious, Nationalist, and Patriotic. It seeks to thumb its nose at the establishment and morals. Anyone that disagrees with this, I personally challenge you, to do an in depth study of the 1960’s, The Anti-War Movement, and the hippy movement in general.
Liberalism, it is purest form, absolves itself of any moral license. The national battle cry of Liberalism is “if it feels good, do it” and “If you do, do not feel any responsibility for it”. Such thought process, demonstrated in Jena, Louisiana this past week, where Al “Interloper” Sharpton and Jesse “Hymietown” Jackson rallied the charge to free the “victims”.
Now before anyone accuses me of being David Duke’s illegitimate child, look at this from another angle, if those were six white people and they beat a black man. The outrage would be deafening. There would be no rallies, and those responsible would be left to rot in prison. However, because it is a case of black on white violence, the perpetrators are the victims. Nooses or no nooses, these thugs got what was coming to them and that is prison time. To be clear, one is still in prison, and rightfully so, a few have gotten their proper punishments reduced to mere slaps on the hands. Must be nice, anyone got any shoe polish? I need some money. Maybe I will get an insignificant punishment too.
In Religious Circles Liberalism is a poison, traced back to 312 A.D. When Constantine saw the ankh in the sky, and the great whore of Babylon was born. For further studies on this, please consult the Bible, in particular the Book of Revelation, chapters 16 & 17. Sadly, this mentality has invaded the Protestant Church today as well, next time you’re in a Southern Baptist Church, ask them which version of the Bible is the Word of God. The answer you might get, will scare you. Between the Hail Mary Crowd and the sign seeking Pentecostals, who downplay the authority of the Word of God, and preach a permissive Gospel, it is a wonder anyone even embraces Christianity anymore.
Even the Fundamentalist Christians, who whom I am somewhat in agreement with cannot seem to get it right, from the Pastor worshiping morons of the Hammond, Indiana crowd to the King James Bible Cultists of Pensacola, Florida or as they’re properly termed as, “Ruckmanites”, It is truly amazing that the Baptist Church even still exists. (Does anyone remember the 100 percenters?)
In closing, let me just leave you all with a word of comfort. Someday, The tide will turn again, and the liberals will be sent back to the rat holes, defeated and disarmed, and the wonderful Paleo-conservatism of my youth will return to its rightful place in the White House. I only wish, it were tomorrow.
